I provide evidence-based counseling to individuals and couples from a place of compassion and reinforcement. I challenge my clients to live in the moment and to develop healthy coping strategies. I sit alongside my clients in discovering new ways to regulate emotions and improve relationships with others. I encourage my clients to cultivate insight and set personal goals. I infuse empathy, positive regard, and humor into my practice.

Prior to working in a private practice setting, I worked as an intern at Veterans Village of San Diego, a substance abuse facility for homeless veterans. I have experience using evidence-based practices to treat major DSM-5 disorders (such as Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder).

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. I received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accredited University of San Diego in 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Washington in 2013.
